About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team at DDi. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain system infrastructure, including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and uptime.
  • Virtualization and Security: Manage and support virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, and implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Configure and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and execute infrastructure projects, provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in system administration roles.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server environments, proficiency in virtualization technologies, and experience with cloud platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
