Site Engineer Job Description

Anglo Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team in the water sector. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of Wastewater Treatment projects, working closely with the Site Agent, Sub Agent, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Maintain Site Engineering Control Systems
    • Develop and implement site engineering control systems to ensure accurate records and compliance with organisational and legal requirements.
  • Set Out Detailed Works
    • Set out detailed works as per contract drawings, conducting regular checks to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in Project Planning
    • Assist in the production and implementation of project plans, RAMS, ITP, and check mechanisms.
  • Monitor Commercial Performance
    • Monitor commercial performance, notifying and quantifying all possible variations.
  • Contribute to Site Management
    • Contribute to the production of short-term lookahead plans with the Site Agent for day-to-day site management.
  • Record Site Activities
    • Produce site diaries, allocation sheets, and maintain a photographic record of works on site.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in setting out on Water/Civil Engineering projects.
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments.
  • Education
    • Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication skills.
  • Certifications
    • EUSR Clean Water Card.

  • Technical Skills
    • Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Project Management
    • Temporary Works Coordination.
  • Certifications
    • CSCS Card.
  • Training
    • Cable Avoidance Training.
  • First Aid
