The Emerald Group is seeking a skilled Actuary to manage pricing, reserve support, and reporting for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pricing, reserve support, and reporting for the business.
  • Own actuarial tasks, understand the broader business implications, and provide comprehensive insight to actuarial and senior management.
  • Proactively liaise with the broader business, provide expertise and guidance, and lead business thought in areas of expertise.
  • Communicate confidently and effectively on technical topics to a wide range of audiences and influence cross-functional business decision-making.
  • Possess a high number of actuarial examination passes or significant experience.
  • Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Python or R is an advantage.

  • Nearly or newly qualified Actuary with pricing experience.
