Job Summary: We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our busy contract catering sites. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present breakfast and lunch dishes for approximately 600 people to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of current food trends, menu planning, and culinary techniques.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations, food labeling, hygiene, COSHH, allergens, and other relevant industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of menu planning, and understanding of current food trends.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain a calm and professional demeanor, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • IT literacy, financial awareness, and administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food labeling, hygiene, COSHH, allergens, and other relevant industry standards.
