We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Clayburn Court in Peterborough. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of kitchen equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience working with older people.
