Job Title: Social Worker

Job Summary:

DigiKape is seeking a qualified social worker to join our Family Safeguarding Teams in West Lancashire. As a social worker, you will be responsible for managing all elements of statutory social work in a fast-paced team environment, working closely with children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and provide support to families in need
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote family well-being and safety
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to address social work needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant social work degree qualification
  • Substantial experience working in a social work setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
