Job Title: Head of Health and Safety

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Health and Safety to join our team at Brook Street Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving a culture of safety excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in health and safety

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a health and safety leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
