Your Responsibilities...

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Technical Director and be responsible for:

  • Providing technical and compliance assistance to the team and managing contracts.
  • Overseeing the operational management of building and engineering services.
  • Ensuring that engineering maintenance, including contracted work, meets established standards and specifications.
  • Offering expert building and engineering knowledge to various departments and senior management.
  • Assuming Authorised Person responsibilities for specified systems.
  • Managing daily operations of estate teams and implementing safety protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, statutory, and HTM requirements.
  • Safeguarding the safe operation of all hospital site equipment.
  • Delivering cost-effective Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive services.
  • Maintaining optimal efficiency of all plant operations.

Your Qualifications...

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Services Manager in Design & Build environments.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in engineering or building services (Degree, Chartered Engineer) with applicable experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proven expertise in building services and plant engineering, with a focus on maintenance and decontamination.
  • Client-focused approach with a strong sense of project ownership.
  • Experience in managing maintenance teams and meeting service level agreements.
