Job Title: SEN Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs in the Bolton area.

We are looking for a tutor who can create engaging and effective learning plans to help students with SEN requirements thrive in a traditional school setting.

The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to work closely with students, parents, and teachers to develop personalized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN requirements
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Work closely with students, parents, and teachers to monitor progress
  • Submit weekly reports to Prospero Teaching

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
