About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving remediation of issues found during our audit program and working with multi-functional regional teams in EMEA to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from Amazon's Colocation Data Center providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute remediation plans to address audit findings and ensure compliance with AWS infrastructure standards.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify and prioritize risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and remediate them.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams to ensure effective remediation of issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including AWS leadership and external partners.
  • Manage and track progress against remediation plans, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical infrastructure projects.
  • Detailed understanding of Data Center technologies, including Power, Cooling, and Controls systems.
  • Experience in core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
  • Demonstrable experience in programme delivery of large cross-functional programs, ideally within an infrastructure environment.
  • Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering, or construction management background.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects, including data center design, construction, and fit-out projects.
  • Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.
  • Experience of delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
  • Formal certification or coursework in project management or equivalent.
