Job Overview
The Royal Marsden is seeking a qualified Biomedical Scientist to join our Biochemistry Department at our Sutton site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a fit-for-purpose Blood Sciences service
- Operate laboratory equipment to deliver the required analytical service
- Perform manual laboratory investigations, including the use of liquid handling devices
- Ensure timely and efficient provision of routine or special analytical services
Person Specification:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Diploma or Degree level study (or equivalent)
Desirable Criteria:
- Evidence of post-registration study or specialist diploma
- Able to perform basic training
Skills and Abilities:
- Self-confident, contributes to laboratory meetings
