Sales Graduate Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Graduate Trainee to join our team at AWD online. As a Sales Graduate Trainee, you will provide business support to our UK Window Solutions division, including new product developments, existing customer business development, new customer acquisition, sales controlling topics, and digital growth strategy.

As a Sales Graduate Trainee, you will have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of training courses and complete an international project, working with international colleagues and undertaking international placements at company locations globally for 4-6 months.

The role is based at our Ross on Wye Head Office, with travel to our European and International Offices for training and placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide business support to the UK Window Solutions division
  • Develop new product offerings and existing customer business
  • Acquire new customers and manage sales controlling topics
  • Support the division with its digital growth strategy
  • Undertake international project and placements
Requirements:
  • Graduated/graduating with a bachelor's degree, with a 2:1 minimum, from a reputable business school during or after 2021
  • Possess 3 months work experience, in direct employment or an internship, experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Possess experience of working internationally either through studying abroad or, work experience (desired)
  • Level B2/C1 standard in English (essential)
  • Proficiency in a second language is preferred however, GCSE / A Level qualifications in another language will be considered
  • The position requires international travel and therefore openness to mobile working is essential
  • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, strong team player who acts with a customer first mentality
  • IT literate in the following Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with navigating BI warehouses and reporting
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred however training will be provided
  • Project management skills, including the ability to work well in a multicultural team
  • Confident communicator who can articulate themselves well to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Prioritisation and organisation skills
