Job Summary:
Pro Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Bookkeeping Workflows: Oversee the daily bookkeeping workflows, ensuring all client deadlines are met, staff are fully occupied, and jobs are being undertaken as efficiently as possible while maintaining our high levels of quality.
- Day-to-Day Bookkeeping Tasks: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for clients, including data input, bank reconciliations, preparation and filing of VAT returns, and preparation of Management Accounts.
- Review Management Accounts: Review all Management Accounts prepared by bookkeepers, providing constructive review points to staff to ensure high-quality, meaningful output to clients.
- High-Level Bookkeeping Services: Provide high-level bookkeeping, planning, and advisory services to specified high-profile clients.
- Onsite Support: Attend onsite to troubleshoot for clients experiencing bookkeeping issues.
- Training and Development: Provide bookkeeping training, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced members of the team to ensure a highly trained team at all times.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced bookkeeping professional with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as experience working with Xero and/or Sage.
