Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of the Domestic Services Department, overseeing cleaning service provision and front-line staff management.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, service issues, and financial constraints.
  • Deliver and monitor exceptional domestic services, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication skills.
  • Respond constructively to unpredictable situations, managing pressure and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Attend multiple locations within a shift, with occasional travel for supplies and equipment.
  • Meet mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout employment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, following instructions and possessing excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to cope with pressure, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various hours across all Dundee locality sites, including weekends and on-call shifts.

NHS Scotland Values:

We are committed to reducing our full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week, with no change in pay. This reduction will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you will be paid.
