We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Plant Supervisor/Mechanical Technician to join our team at a world-leading producer of high-quality products. With a strong order book and growth into various export markets, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation.
- Plan and execute routine maintenance and shutdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Oversee all aspects of safety, health, quality, and environmental compliance, site security, and mechanical maintenance.
- Resolve mechanical and process-related issues and breakdowns on site, utilizing problem-solving skills and expertise.
- Manage contractors, permits to work, and workload organization to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship-trained.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.

- A competitive salary range of £42,000 - £48,000, plus a 5% bonus scheme.
