About the Role:

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent basis. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software, leading and coordinating installation and maintenance activities, and providing training and support to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software and systems.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Lead and coordinate installation and maintenance activities to ensure requirements are met at all times.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to junior engineers when required.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with customers and other departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are being met at all times.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience designing and developing software.
  • Skills: Good PLC, HMI, and SCADA knowledge and experience - ideally Siemens.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
