We are seeking a skilled Hedge Fund Research Analyst to join our team at Edgworth Partners, a leading global alternatives asset manager. Our firm specializes in hedge fund solutions and is expanding its research team to cover a range of strategies, including Credit, Commodity, Equities, Event-Driven, Macro, and Multi-Strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investment due diligence and manager selection for hedge fund strategies, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including on-site fund manager visits.
- Regularly monitor approved and invested funds, as well as the underlying portfolios of these funds.
- Apply business analysis and programming skills to contribute to the development and enhancement of our firm's investment processes and analysis tools.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly reports, newsletters, and other marketing documents.
- 5-10 years of experience in alternative investments, with a focus on hedge fund investment strategies, preferably as an allocator or research professional from an alternative investment consultant, asset manager, or other institution.
- Advanced education, such as CFA or CAIA, is a plus.
- A highly motivated team player with a structured approach and strong attention to detail.
