Job Title: Senior Verifier NVQ and Apprenticeships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Verifier NVQ and Apprenticeships to join our team at Pearson. As a Senior Verifier, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our NVQ and Apprenticeships programs.

About the Role:

The Senior Verifier NVQ and Apprenticeships will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking sampling of assessment and internal verification decisions and records for competence-based qualifications within a Principal Subject Area (PSA) to affirm that national occupational standards have been achieved and upheld.
  • Supporting, advising, and guiding centres based on the outcomes of the sampling process.
  • Directing centres in the delivery of competence-based qualifications towards the achievement of national occupational standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in delivering and assessing NVQs at level 1-3.
  • Hold D32/D33 or A1 qualifications, and hold/be working towards the V1 or the Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the field of assessment and delivery of vocational qualifications.
