This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team at Benjamin Moore & Co. as a Specifier Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our business development activities with professional Interior Design firms and generating leads within the Leisure, Hospitality, Retail, and Facilities Maintenance sectors, in partnership with our Sales team and Authorised Stockist partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth and market share in the UK market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Interior Design firms, architects, and design practices.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Collaborate with our Sales team and Authorised Stockist partners to maximize lead conversion and sales.
- Participate in industry exhibitions and events to promote our products and services.
- Develop and deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to educate clients on our products and services.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the architectural and design communities.
- Thorough understanding of specifications and finishing schedule writing.
- Excellent communication, listening, and public speaking skills.
- Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of design and architecture, with a keen eye for colour and aesthetics.
- Excellent technical proficiency to comprehend and convey complex product specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of both the internal organization and with external partners.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective time management skills and high sales aptitude.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary and travel overnight.
