Role Overview:

Your duties will be divided between the manufacturing facility and client locations. Initially, you will receive comprehensive training in all facets of production, assembly, fitting, finishing, and equipment operation. Following successful training, you will transition to field service, focusing on troubleshooting, repairs, servicing, and calibrating our products on-site.

Upon completing your training, you will possess a unique skill set that allows you to operate wherever the business requires, whether in the local area or, occasionally, internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of production, including assembly, testing, and finishing.
  • Travel to customer locations to maintain, repair, and calibrate Accles & Shelvoke products.
  • Promote and sell our comprehensive range of services and products during field visits.
  • Provide customer training on the safe handling and maintenance of our equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, sales, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure company tools, equipment, and vehicles are well-maintained and presentable.
  • Engage with customers to address technical issues and offer commercial solutions.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Background in mechanical engineering with both factory and field experience.
  • Methodical, eager to learn, and adaptable to a role where each day presents new challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and interested in technology.
  • Presentable, articulate, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A-Level education or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driving license and no criminal convictions.
