Job Title: Children's Social Worker

Job Summary:

Ashberry Recruitment is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment team in Warrington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with children and families to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and families to assess their needs and develop support plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective service delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to families to help them overcome challenges
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve service delivery
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of service needs and ability to make good decisions based on information available
  • Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
