Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team at Leonardo. This role involves overseeing the management and support of development and support contracts for the Gripen Radar Test Equipment product ranges, with occasional international travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Negotiate contract modifications and changes
  • Review and assess options from the procurement supply chain
  • Lead the project team effectively, ensuring successful project delivery
  • Communicate project progress to management and customers
  • Ensure adherence to Life Cycle Management principles

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in delivering projects and contracts, with a proven track record of success
  • Pro-active approach, with a focus on achieving high performance and exceeding expectations
  • Sound understanding of project reporting and financial controls, with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Good computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Detailed knowledge of risk management and project execution tools, with the ability to apply them effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously and integrate with multiple functions, with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
  • Degree-level qualification or higher, with relevant experience in a similar role
