£46,000 per annum including shift allowance

Job Overview:
We are looking for a proficient and committed Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. This position entails executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing equipment failures throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ongoing improvement initiatives and assist in the development of effective maintenance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct PPMs to guarantee that machinery and equipment are kept in peak condition.
2. Respond to and rectify breakdowns swiftly to reduce operational downtime.
3. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and performance.
4. Engage in continuous improvement projects and maintenance planning.
5. Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
6. Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Experience:
1. Completion of a time-served apprenticeship or qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering.
2. Relevant experience in a heavy industry setting is advantageous.
3. Strong understanding of PLC systems with experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
4. Excellent analytical skills and a proactive maintenance approach.
5. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate effectively.
