Cirkle is seeking an accomplished PR Account Director to join our Retail Trade team and support our clients in the food and beverage industry. As a seasoned professional, you will contribute to daily client account work, helping to execute trade PR activities, including media relations, content development, research, and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in the execution of trade PR activities, including media relations, content development, research, and social media campaigns.
  • Contribute to daily client account work, ensuring all client and competitive coverage is scanned, reported, and up-to-date.
  • Help prepare for quarterly reviews and PR planning days to ensure everything is well-organized.
  • Arrange telephone interviews and one-on-one briefings between clients and journalists, as needed.
  • Draft proposals and ideas for branded initiatives, such as one-on-one briefings or publishing house tours.
  • Oversee and manage the logistics behind product mail-outs, working with Account Assistants.
  • Contribute to creative ideas for pitch briefs and collaborate with the design agency and Cirkle Designer on design and content briefs.
  • Utilize time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion and interest in the retail trade and on-trade sector.
  • Previous experience in public relations, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Desirable experience in the FMCG, food and drink, or retail trade audience.
  • Strong communication, research, and organization skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to present and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Positive attitude to challenging situations and willingness to go above and beyond to complete projects accurately and on time.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
