Job Title: Toolmaker Specialist

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Fix is seeking an experienced Toolmaker Specialist to join our client's team in Burnley. As a Toolmaker Specialist, you will be responsible for producing bespoke tooling for a range of customers from drawing to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain extrusion tooling and associated equipment.
  • Milling, Turning, Grinding, XYZ semi C.N.C machines & Benchwork.
  • Maintain all necessary records, including Tool Trials, Job Sheets, etc.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Maintain all H&S and Environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous Toolmaker experience.
  • Proficiency on Manual Lathes, Manual Milling Machines, Surface Grinders.
  • Reading of Engineering drawings and GA's.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerances.
  • Experience with varied materials, including Steels and Aluminium.
