We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineer Graduate to join our team. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and improvement of water and wastewater treatment facilities, delivering energy-neutral designs and optimized solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop your knowledge of electrical technologies, including high voltage, low voltage, and control system applications.
- Gain an understanding of the interfaces with other engineering disciplines, such as civil, hydraulic, process, mechanical, and modeling.
- Support operational staff in optimizing site production and lowering site spend.
- Work on a variety of projects, from small-scale improvements to multimillion-pound new build installations.
- Gain a broad spectrum of experience through placements across the engineering teams within United Utilities.
- A minimum 2:1 accredited degree in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering, or equivalent.
- An excellent communicator able to engage at all levels, including written communication.
- An excellent team player.
- A full UK driving license.
We offer a competitive starting salary of £30,000, 26 days of annual leave (increasing to 30 days after four years), plus bank holidays. Our benefits package includes private healthcare, discounted gym membership, flexible holidays, and an award-winning pension scheme.
