About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Capita. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical maintenance and support for our ICT systems to a set of schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduled technical maintenance and support for ICT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Involvement in larger installations in schools in line with documented project plans.
  • Provide reactive IT support as required, including telephone support, remote support, site visits and assistance with hardware quotations.
  • Research and document development projects and procedures for the team in line with strategic objectives for the business.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • An interest in IT and a career in this area.
  • Ideal qualifications in IT (GCSE/A Level) although this is not essential.
  • Happy to work term time only.
  • Full UK licence with access to own vehicle.
