We are seeking a dependable and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team, working full time, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer accounts, ensuring overdue balances are minimized and assisting in resolving any invoicing discrepancies. You will serve as the primary contact for the organization regarding any debtor-related inquiries or issues.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts to maintain accuracy and facilitate the prompt identification and resolution of queries or ongoing issues.
  • Monitor debtor accounts by identifying consistent late payers, flagging problems, and gathering missing information to reduce risk to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance processes related to cash collection and query resolution, working closely with account managers who maintain client relationships.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, such as reporting, bank reconciliations, and providing support for colleagues.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in credit control with strong numerical skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Highly organized, confident, and possessing excellent time management abilities.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating effective communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial office environment and values teamwork.
  • Familiarity with Sage accounting software and databases is a plus, though not mandatory.
