Job Title: Full Time Packaging Associate

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Associate to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. This is a full-time temporary role until March 2025, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the development of packaging for new and existing products, creating robust packaging specifications to hand over to our manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Creation of packaging specifications in our Product Lifecycle management system
  2. Liaise closely with our supply chain and artwork teams to ensure that the correct codes are applied
  3. Quality checking of existing specifications
  4. Support data analysis for environmental reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Existing right to work in the UK, ability to work in English language
  2. Scientific qualification, degree equivalent, is preferred
  3. Experience and knowledge of key processes in packaging development for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
  4. Experience of packaging specifications writing
  5. A creative, logical, and analytical mind to generate innovative solutions to technical problems
  6. Experience of working in partnership with cross-functional partners is beneficial, especially Supply Chain and Quality
  7. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills
  8. Attention to detail and computer literacy is a must for this role
