Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Assessor to join our team at Protocol. As a Gas Assessor, you will be responsible for training and assessing engineers in line with Gas Safe and IGEM requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your workload and ensure that engineers are updated during training prior to assessment by your colleagues.
  • Accurately complete records during assessments.
  • Support the development of bespoke training programs to meet the needs of employers in the gas and heating industry.
  • Use our systems to record learner achievements.
  • Complete relevant documentation for awarding organization monitoring visits, in accordance with our requirements and those of the awarding body.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes across the ACS and apprentice team.
  • Provide information, careers advice, and guidance to employers, agencies, and prospective apprentices.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Gas or a related field.
  • Teaching Qualification.
  • Current Gas Safe Registration.
  • Health and Safety Qualification.
  • Experience assessing at FE level.
