Job Opportunity at Childbase Partnership

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice at our Brinds Well Day Nursery in Hawstead Lane, Orpington, Kent.

About the Role

This early years apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable practical childcare experience while studying for a recognized qualification.

  • Work as part of a team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments.
  • Plan and implement opportunities to enhance children's development.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users and work in partnership with colleagues and parents.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies.
What You'll Gain

  • Level 2 functional skills qualifications in maths and English.
  • A paediatric first aid qualification.
  • A permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse within our partnership.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have documentation to evidence your right to work in the UK.
  • Have photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
  • Have official documentation to evidence your national insurance number.
  • Have access to a computer to undertake the initial on-line assessment and submit on-going coursework.
  • Have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Be comfortable with travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
