About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Schuh in Newbury. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of sales associates to achieve outstanding results.

About the Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop your team to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Lead by example, managing junior managers and sales team to achieve operational excellence
  • Nurture a culture of delivering the most exceptional shopping experience on the high street
  • Recruit and train new talent to join our team
  • Set goals, achieve targets, and drive KPIs to drive business growth
  • Strive for operational excellence, celebrating achievements and promoting the Schuh brand
  • Create exciting new store displays, making commercial decisions within our visual merchandising guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
