Electrical Supervisor Job Description

Our client, a leading facilities management and maintenance contractor in the UK, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering planned and reactive FM maintenance services to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Manage all activities with a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • PPM Management: Oversee the delivery of planned maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Reactive Calls: Manage reactive maintenance calls, ensuring that they are delivered in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Performance Management: Review data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Recognised electrical qualifications, including electrical apprenticeship, 18th edition IEE, and C&G 2391.
  • Experience: Proven track record in delivering engineering solutions in a critical environment, with detailed operational understanding of facilities maintenance, soft services, hard services, and building services.
  • People Management: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team, with experience of performance management and operational HR processes.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, with ability to use software applications and systems to manage and report on maintenance activities.
