Future Care Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Accommodation Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in running the home according to our high standards of care, acting as a positive role model to the team and supporting the carers in the home to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
  • Ensure the home is run in a manner that reflects the requirements of our Policies and Procedures and ensures that all requirements under the Health and Social Care Act 2022 are met.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including ensuring that the working diary is completed and adhered to.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date care records, including care planning reviews that must be inclusive of residents and their representatives.
  • Coordinate Staff Training, Appraisal and Supervisions as requested by the Home Manager.
  • Provide mental health support via our Employee Assistance Programme, a free and confidential health and wellbeing resource.
  • Administer Employee Benefits Scheme, offering exclusive deals and discounts for our staff.
  • Ensure the home is equipped with the necessary resources and facilities to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall quality of care and services provided by the home.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within a care home setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
