The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Plastering Work-based Tutor to join our team at The Sheffield College. As a Work-based Learning Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching Plastering and Interior Systems in a hands-on practical learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and assessing learners in a practical setting
  • Monitoring and evaluating learner progress
  • Liaising with employers to build strong relationships and identify opportunities for apprentices
  • Championing our commitment to putting students first

Requirements

  • Qualifications and industry experience in Plastering, with experience of Drylining
  • A qualification such as A1/TAQA/Certificate in Education & Training or be willing to work towards upon starting (fully funded by us)
  • Enthusiasm about work-based learning for construction apprentices
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
