About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mobile Library Support Officer. As a key member of our School Library Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality reading and library services to schools across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the mobile library vehicle to deliver library services to schools
  • Assist in the delivery and administration of our day-to-day service
  • Provide excellent customer care to schools and their communities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent driving skills and experience of driving vehicles up to 7500kg
  • Ability to work flexibly in the office and on the mobile library vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with schools and their communities
