Position Overview:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in crafting, executing, and providing exceptional educational initiatives, which encompass school-based workshops, short-term courses, teacher development sessions, and community engagement events.
Primary Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting engaging workshops and activities tailored for diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Creating and assessing educational programs that align with the strategic objectives of the curriculum.
- Identifying and nurturing partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all educational equipment and facilities are prepared and maintained to the highest standards before and after activities, including monitoring and managing supplies as necessary.
- Executing and reviewing risk assessments for educational programs, adhering to protocols for first aid and incident documentation.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Ability to represent the organization with professionalism at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to work proactively and adaptively to meet established goals.
- Strong teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships with educational colleagues.
- Experience or a strong interest in engaging with young individuals aged 14 and above in agricultural and rural skills education.
Additional Information:
- This role will require occasional travel.
- The position entails full-time hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
- Legal authorization to work in the UK is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as needed for educational or broader organizational events is expected, with a system for time off in lieu.
- This position is classified as a regulated activity; therefore, any offer will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
