Project Management Specialist

Location: Shrewsbury

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000 Depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

We are collaborating with a reputable and expanding organization in Shrewsbury seeking to appoint a dedicated and skilled Project Management Specialist. This role will support the operations team in accelerating the pace and progress of various projects, guaranteeing efficient, timely, and quality delivery of client orders from the moment of order receipt through to successful implementation at client locations. While you will oversee projects at client sites across the UK, your primary base will be at the company’s headquarters in Shrewsbury.

This position is crucial for the organization, and you will be part of a small yet growing and successful team known for quality innovation and remarkable growth, consistently surpassing financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing multiple client projects across various sites in the UK
  • Ensuring all site preparations and setups are completed efficiently
  • Coordinating with manufacturers to guarantee the availability of materials and components for project milestones
  • Monitoring the performance of all subcontracted services on-site
  • Conducting all necessary technical checks for project sites
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting toolbox talks
  • Participating in pre-start and other site meetings, typically via video conferencing

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment, where you have successfully managed multiple installations or coordinated various moving parts
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes is advantageous
  • A driven, goal-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can positively influence project timelines and outcomes.
