Mobile Service Technician - Midlands

We're seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team at Zenith, the UK's largest provider of commercial fleet solutions. As a Mobile Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing trucks and trailers at our customer sites in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to service and repair trucks and trailers in accordance with current legislation
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics as directed
  • Supporting customers
  • Completing inspections on engines and electrical components and rectifying problems within specific timeframes
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to both new and used trucks and trailers
  • Working on large double deck trailers (experience with moving decks will be crucial)

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and experience of servicing and maintaining HGVs and other commercial vehicles and the ability to perform repairs on various types and brands of vehicle
  • Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding
  • Full valid driving license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A real commitment to delivering first-class service and a sense of pride in your work
