Warehouse Operative Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at HAR Labcorp Early Development Laboratories Limited. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a critical role in maintaining the flow of goods and documents to end-user departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the flow of goods and documents to end-user departments, including purchased goods, client samples, mail, and data.
- Take receipt of deliveries, unpack, and check the delivery to ensure the specification and quantity are correct and the condition of the goods is acceptable.
- Deliver goods/samples to operational and service departments on the main site and off-site (WPH).
- Receipt deliveries into the ERP system.
- Quarantine and report non-conforming consignments to a manager.
- Store inventory items in the correct storage location.
- Pick inventory items against internal requisitions.
- Pack and dispatch goods to external destinations.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Sort and distribute internal and external mail.
- Distribute QA data.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Filing – delivery notes, pick plans, and sample forms.
- Comply with department SOPs and other relevant policies and regulations pertaining to the Stores department.
- Work overtime and attend out-of-hours call-outs as and when required.
Requirements:
- Experience working within a warehouse role.
- Full valid UK driver's license.
- Ideal counterbalance forklift license, however not essential.
