We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to service users with complex needs, including medication administration, repositioning, and tending to clinical needs.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each service user's unique needs and preferences, and adapt care plans accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support.
- Monitor and report any changes in service user's condition, and implement care plans as needed.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
- Ability to administer medication, provide personal care, and perform moving and handling tasks.
- Experience working with service users with complex needs, such as tracheostomy care, oxygen administration, and epilepsy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, families, and care teams.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
