About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our successful UK team based in Coventry. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to provide sales application information and concept designs for potential clients using SolidWorks CAD package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce design layouts and CAD models using SolidWorks CAD software.
  • Produce supporting calculations for design solutions.
  • Attend customer premises when required for technical meetings/site surveys.
  • Assist with on-site technical installation.
  • Undertake Project Engineering activities such as producing technical files and documentation, risk assessments, and timing plans.
Requirements
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • 3D & 2D CAD software design experience.
  • Hands-on mechanical experience.
  • A flexible working attitude.
