About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Mechanical Operative. As a Coil Operative, you will be responsible for dismantling electric motors, taking out windings, and cleaning motor parts using various tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dismantling electric motors using hand tools
  • Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation
  • Cleaning motor parts using abrasives, chemicals, and steam cleaning
  • Using a short blaster to clean all motor parts
  • Operating cranes for all activities

Requirements:

  • Commitment to working to high-quality procedures and standards
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools
  • Experience of working in an engineering environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm

Hours may be subject to change in the future to shift patterns of either Monday - Friday: 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm.
