Job Overview:

The Broadcast Systems Architect position is vital, demanding a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving within the broadcast engineering domain. In this role, you will oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of the sophisticated systems that underpin our essential transmission operations. A comprehensive understanding of systems engineering methodologies, industry benchmarks, and a proactive approach to challenges are crucial.

Working collaboratively with various teams, you will ensure the dependability, scalability, and security of our systems, facilitating uninterrupted content distribution to our clientele. Your foresight in identifying and resolving technical challenges will be key to upholding superior broadcast quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Oversight and Management:
    - Administer Linux and Windows environments, focusing on system setup and deployment
    - Establish automated processes for system upkeep and updates across multiple platforms
  • Systems Development and Execution:
    - Design intricate distributed systems for broadcast transmission across various channels
    - Engage in system architecture, documentation, and compatibility evaluations for hardware/software setups
    - Produce comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures, providing specialized training as necessary
  • Technical Guidance:
    - Direct technical initiatives from conception to completion, adhering to timelines and financial plans
    - Collaborate with technology teams on design specifications and production needs
    - Mentor teams on engineering projects and assist in resolving technical challenges
  • Diagnostics and Enhancement:
    - Assess system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software complications, and develop technical solutions
    - Create performance and security strategies aligned with broadcast engineering requirements
