We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Red - Specialist Recruitment in Greenwich. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the manufacturing line and supervising a team to maximize people efficiency and delivery weekly output in a safe and high-quality manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacture of products within the department to meet production plans, on time and to the right quality.
  • Consult with Inventory Control to ensure material availability.
  • Attend relevant meetings, ensuring you have relevant information.
  • Maintain relevant metrics (dashboards & efficiencies).
  • Keep team brief screens updated and ensure regular communication with teams.
  • Monitor, manage and report teams' performance.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory or line management experience.
  • Experience of managing of permanent and temporary staff.
  • Experience of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Communication skills - written and oral.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills – Able to plan production schedules and monitor materials availability.
