About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Deputy Manager to join our management team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care to residents, including personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Support the management function by assisting with supervisions, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end-of-month medication reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • A committed and organized approach to your work.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
