Principal Electrical Design Engineer

RGB Network is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their building services team in Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with Electrical Associates and Technical Directors to deliver innovative engineering solutions to clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop electrical systems, from concept to detailed design, including low voltage electrical distribution, lighting, power supplies, fire alarms, ICT cabling, and cable containment.
  2. Support project surveys, specifications, and contract management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess experience and qualifications to achieve Incorporated Engineer status, aligned with IET or CIBSE standards.

Additional Qualifications Include:
  1. Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including BSRIA BG6 Stage 4A.
  2. Experience with Amtech software.
  3. Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
  4. Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L compliance.
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Expertise in technical design software.
