Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating shifts (6 AM – 2 PM, 8 AM – 5 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM)

Role Overview:

We are in search of a talented and adaptable Engineering Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join a distinguished site recognized for its advanced technology and infrastructure. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual eager to contribute significantly.


Primary Duties:
  • Maintain and diagnose a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly focusing on pumps and related mechanical apparatus.
  • Operate within a large, state-of-the-art facility, ensuring the efficient functioning and upkeep of vital systems.
  • Engage in a shift pattern that spans a wide range of hours, guaranteeing site coverage and operational effectiveness.
  • Be available for on-call duties on a 1 in 8 rotation, with appealing compensation for call-outs.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must hold a 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • At least a Level 3 electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, HND, BEng, BSc).
  • Significant experience in electro-mechanical building systems, especially in the maintenance and management of pumps and similar equipment.
  • Capability to work independently and efficiently in a complex, large-scale environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical building systems.
