About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled RD&A Technologist to join our team in Coleraine. As a key member of our RD&A team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches on time and to budget.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new product and packaging developments, ensuring accurate and timely information is supplied to site teams and customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading product development from customer brief to launch
- Coordinating NPD recipes and associated paperwork
- Managing raw material and supplier approvals
- Developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Coordinating commercialization processes between customers and commercialization teams
- Supporting site packaging, regulatory, and quality teams with artwork processes
- Maintaining customer focus for ingredient and packaging developments
- Creating and dispatching samples to customers

Qualifications and SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Food Science or a related field
- Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in SAP and Optiva systems an advantage
- Fluency in English
- Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Able to work independently and pay attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
