We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team at GSL Education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering Mathematics lessons to students, using a variety of teaching methods to engage and support their learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of individual students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, group work, and practical experiments, to engage students and support their learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, homework assignments, and tests.
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on their academic progress, including identifying areas for improvement and strategies for success.
  • Use technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as math Olympiads, clubs, science fairs, and field trips, to further engage and inspire students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or qualification (PGCE, QTS).
  • Prior experience teaching Science to school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
